I am the founder and lead data scientist at the Cyber Geography Research Institute International. CGRII is an all-volunteer organization which aims to explore and define cyberspace via geographic principles.
I am pursuing my PhD in Geography at the University of Kentucky. I plan to continue my work on cyber geographies, code/spaces, political economy, and information society. I am an assistant editor for Big Data & Society and an active contributor to the Data for Democracy Code of Ethics Project.
I sponsor and organize the Bluegrass Developers Guild, the Bluegrass Data Science Group, and the LexPy Python Group as I am a huge data geek who loves programming, analytics, technology, and community. I also teach a variety of classes (contact me for additional information).
